In Good Company
May 26, 2011 10:18 am
Dear Corporate America,
I am writing to request sponsorship from your company. Yes, you may have spent most of your endorsement dollars on star athletes—those who can move product with their performance and personality. But I believe we’re in an era when NASCAR hoods, ballparks, and running gear of the elites aren’t the only places corporations should find homes for their logos. As I train for races in late 2011 and early 2012, I would like to humbly offer up my extra-large amount of anatomical real estate for you to promote your brand.
Best of all, because of my all-fricking-day pace, your logo will be seen for much longer periods of time than it would be if it were promoted on the bodies of world-class, excellent, very good, or good runners. Talk about value-added. Space and time.
Please see my suggestions below for companies that, I believe, would make the perfect match.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
The Big Guy |
