Haha, my way is
1) to have a target, if you are committed to a marathon and don't want to suffer during that , you have to train and train very hard too.
2) Make sure that you tell it to everybody , so that you cannot quit unless you have a very very thick skin.
3) force yourself to wake up every morning to have a run first before any committment otherwise there will be excuses not to run after a hard day of work, your colleagues or customers will try all means to stop you from running because they don't have a marathon to run, you have.
4) write in this forum about your daily run so that you have to run otherwise you have nothing to write !!!
5) don't be shy to tell your colleagues and doing it more often they will ask you if you have a run already in the morning. I always suprised my colleagues during breatfast even we all have a late night ( such as 2 am) and managed a 15km run before breakfast at 7:30 bababa!!! I always smile at the reaction they have. But of-course you can't do it too often ( I mean late night and earliy morning run!) |
