I Remember there was a Chinese news report from last year stating over 40 runners have been found cheated at one of major Marathons in China (maybe Xia Men or Hangzhou Marathon). Event organizer caught the cheating because they noticed at least 30 runners have the same chip time (finish time), after more investigations, it was learned that 1 runner carried other runners' chips to the finish line, while those cheaters never finished the full course...
The story was kind laughable, but to me -- what a disgrace to this respectful event! |
