Paul Mui here, moved to Shanghai 1 year ago from Hong kong. On first glance Shanghai is quite a challenge for runners. It helps if you speak and recognise a bit of the  Chinese but if you cannot, it is  even harder. However if you explore it a bit harder too you will find plenty of places to run.  One year after I have met plenty of local runners and now a regular around Century park Pudong. Yiqipao runners meet there every tuesday night 7 pm at gate 7, rain or shine. Do join us.

Haha,
Just enjoy running and some sweating. Keep up the spirit, it is good for one's health and we can less worry about eating more.
