"Not knowing anyone to consult with, I got injured all over... I started to research. By reading a lot of information, I gradually learned to avoid possible injury and how to protect myself properly."
sounds so familiar a story. but i never regreted this path we've been through cuz i think go running is like growing up a new me, and the process is never an enjoyment. you have to be pained, frustrated, tortured and even to be taken down, physcally and mentally, before you will start take it serious of the warm up, nutrition, rest, running gears, running strategies and etc.
it might be an avoidable path but i believe there's always a cost for us in order to know what we can and we can't (like the reality and ambition in the running dilemma?), a cost to pay anyways. so if anyone come forward with the question of start running, i will say, just go ahead and run, run hard, and you will find your own way out.
and later, when we start running at a comfortable pace, we are then philosophers thinking of the universe issues like suesu and myself here. thanks for the pains. i know there is a lot of people quit running because of injuries, but casualties are inevitable. just like everyone knows don't drive overspeed |
