My 24th marathon

Coming sunday is my 24th participation of a full marathon, having failed 5 of them,  I need to post this to announce my determination to finish this one too. 2 weeks ago I almost quit 2 km into the Beijing one. Hopefuly the same thought won't go through my mind, haha!!!

Really looking forward for this one. Hopefully at least equal or better my time of 3:27 from last year.

Another hopefully is the weather to be perfect like the one we have in Beijing last month, as there are uncertainty whether it will rain or not. However this is part of the excitement for a marathon, so many little things that could affect one's performance and mood. I remember  the two marathons I did  back in 2004 and 2005 in Hong Kong was cold, wet and windy, This make the event even more memorable.

Rain or shine,  I 'll enjoy crossing the finish line (the one who say enjoying the run must be crazy!!)

The weather is gonna be very suitable for marathon running. Don't get too hung up on breaking your PR. BTW, are you coming with us on the bus Saturday morning? We had such a good time on the bus when the group went together to Yangzhou this past spring.
